Rubber Duck Jazz was written for Theresa Nakra's Introduction to Electronic Music class at the College of New Jersey. I've always been really fascinated by well-done chiptune music, which is the sort of sound you hear from really old video games. I found a program called Famitracker that allows for the emulation of an NES's sound software, and I set to work. I was originally going to be using this as a song for a retro-style game project, but it took on a life of its own.
